GPV/KCV supports the ‘Every Child’ national campaign aimed at promoting the wellbeing of children and young people by calling on governments to establish a National Child Development Fund and to adopt national wellbeing indicators and targets for child health, education, justice and wellbeing.
In 2020 GPV also called for the establishment of an effective mechanism within the National Council for Children, Young People and Families to support the active participation of young people in advancing their wellbeing.
This campaign also called for recognition of the leadership and strategies advocated by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to improve the wellbeing of their children and young people.
